Karen Spann joined Professional Employment Group [PEG] in April, 2011 in a leadership capacity. PEG was acquired by Karen and her husband Andy in 2002. She became the sole owner in May, 2010. Prior to joining PEG, Karen served as the Director of Marketing at Straub's Specialty Grocery Stores and was the President/Owner of PEG - Industrial Resources, a light industrial staffing company.
Karen's earlier career was spent in Brand Management running increasingly larger dog food businesses at Ralston Purina. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, and leadership.
Prior to joining Professional Employment Group in November 2006, Brian Durow was the Regional Vice President of Hudson IT & Engineering, which provided staffing solutions to multiple companies throughout North America. As a Regional Vice President for the IT division, he was responsible for the management of internal staff, individual market strategies, and P&L's. During his tenure there, he oversaw up to eight offices and more than 400 consultants.
Throughout his career, Brian has been extremely active in the implementation of business strategies, sales processes and recruiter development. He started his career with Allegis Group where he spent eight years developing and delivering strategic business plans for the St. Louis market as it pertained to Environmental, Engineering, and Light Industrial. At the same time, he built a staff of sales associates, recruiters and administrators to support that business.
Brian graduated in 1995 from the University of Missouri Kansas City with a BS in Business Administration.
Dan Rottinghaus began his career in the staffing industry in 1993 as a recruiter with The Allegis Group. Since then, he has worked his way through the industry holding various positions of increasing responsibility, including account representative, sales manager and branch manager. He has also been directly responsible for both internal training and market development in both the Kansas City and Denver markets, as well as instrumental in national business development. Having worked in various disciplines, Dan understands the need to customize solutions for each client. He joins Professional Employment Group looking to expand our presence in the Western region in both the IT and Engineering markets. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with degrees in Finance and Real Estate.
With more than 15 years in the recruitment and full-time staffing arena, Diane Dazey is responsible for opening PEG's Full Time Placement Division in 1996. Prior to PEG, Diane worked seven years for a National Staffing Company, where she trained several offices and sat on the advisory board for their corporate office. There, Diane earned the title of Senior Placement Specialist and she was consistently one of their top billers.
She received her BS degree from Missouri State University in 1989.
