My client, a leader in plastics manufacturing, has a direct hire opportunity for an Account Manager/Inside Sales Specialist for their Hiawatha, IA location. This is an on-site opportunity with a phenomenal client that offers a strong salary and bonus plan, and a robust benefits package including substantial PTO/Holidays.
This company is seeking a detail-oriented individual who can think outside the box to provide long-term solutions to key clients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provides material and application assistance, determines customer needs, and recommends products and/or fabrication services.
- Calculates pricing for quotes, material yields, and labor to optimize profit margin.
- Confers and shares information about customers and order status with the sales team.
- Manages the order entry and flow process to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Works with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales, and Market Managers on competitive, strategic pricing situations and market conditions, key and target account projects, and new products.
- Travels as required to customer sites, trade shows, sales training, and company-wide sales meetings.
To Be Successful, It’ll Help If You Have:
- Great communication skills – both written and verbal
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer Service experience in Manufacturing or a background in Industrial Sales preferred
- You manage your time well and can prioritize tasks and follow up appropriately
- Organization skills & attention to detail
