A global manufacturing company is seeking an Assistant Controller for a hybrid role, headquartered in downtown St. Louis. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, working closely with the Controller and CFO.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Overseeing General Ledger (GL) accounting processes and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
• Generating financial statements and supporting schedules, providing critical insights into the company's financial performance.
• Managing consolidations across various legal entities and intercompany accounting processes.
• Playing a key role in year-end audit processes, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
• Facilitating month-end close procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Handling tax returns and working collaboratively with tax professionals.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of full cycle accounting experience.
• Background in manufacturing/distribution.
• CPA/MBA certification is preferred.
• Cost accounting experience is a plus, though not required.
