Responsibilities of the Senior System Administrator

• Support and maintain in-house computer systems and networks and more challenging system related projects while taking the lead on network and group based policy changes. 
• Conduct research on computer products in support of PC and server procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase.
• Write technical specifications for purchase of PCs, servers, networking hardware and related products.
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.

• Secondary level training and/or certification in Operating Systems/Networks or minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in Microsoft Windows Server
• Advanced knowledge of active directory
• Advanced knowledge of group policy deployment
• Advanced knowledge of system hardening
• Experience with log management and or SIEM systems
• CCNA or proven knowledge maintaining networks.
