We’re recruiting a Senior Accountant for a company who promotes from within, is forward-thinking and embraces new technology. The company focuses on teamwork to get results and values their employees. This is a hybrid position.
What You'll Do:
- You will play a key role in the monthly close process and monthly forecast
- Calculate and allocate shared expenses to business cost centers
- Manage fixed assets and capital expenditure reporting
- Prepare journal entries related to key assets, reserves, miscellaneous accruals, and prepaids
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze cost centers on trends and variance analysis
- Provide support and finance guidance to business partners, acting as lead senior accountant between accounting and other departments
- Support quarterly and yearly audits with external and internal auditors
- Drive process improvements, efficiencies, and lead projects
To Be Successful, It'll Help If You Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Two or more years as an accountant
- ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
- Process Improvement mindset
- A desire and passion to be a team player and mentor for entry-level accountants
