As professional career matchmakers, we're helping a local company searching for a Tax Accountant. For this direct placement opportunity, you'll prepare sales and personal property tax returns. Training is in-office in Creve Coeur, MO; afterward, you'll move to a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office and 3 days remote). Spend part of your week doing yoga stretches or playing fetch on your breaks. What You'll Do:

• As a Tax Accountant, you'll prepare sales and use and property tax returns
• Reconcile sales tax accounts (let's a-count for that)
• Prepare and submit business licenses
• Audit company records to identify and correct any mistakes or source missing documents

• 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting OR sales and property tax
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting OR Finance preferred
• Experience using property tax software preferred
